Having grown up in Greenwich, Jade resolutely continues to reside south of the river. Her route into barbering was inspired by her grandmother, who worked as a hairdresser in the 60s. Having learnt her craft in various salons in London, she came to Huckle the Barber, drawn by the shop's atmosphere, camaraderie and professionalism.
Acutely aware of the variables involved in cutting men's hair entails - from buzz cuts to longer styles - Jade loves the ever-changing look of the rock star, citing Robert Plant and David Bowie as particular favourites. But she still thinks nothing beats the man who set the rock'n'roll template, Elvis Presley. Away from work, she enjoys country walks with her dog, especially ones that finish at a cosy country pub. At home, she enjoys painting and crocheting.
